Message "Enter Sleeping Mode" appears on you panel could be the bad connetion of your VGA or DVI port. Please make sure that your VGA or DVI cable is working properly. If same appears, please contact us and describe the problem that occur.
A3.Touch Monitor Do I have to install the driver?
Some of AiM's product can be operate on Windows 7 without install the driver. But for better proformance and calibrate reason, we commend all user to install the driver.
A4.Touch Monitor Can I add or change "Touch Panel" by myself??
AiM does not recommend to add or change touch panel without professional engineer. To change it by yourself may cause the panel to break or cannot perform properly. If you are interesting in Touch Technology please contact us!
A5.touch has two different modes in Windows.
1.HID-Mouse mode. (In Windows the mouse cursor becomes arrow described, pen down and touch function works but only single touch) 2.HID-Digitizer mode.(In Windows the mouse cursor becomes bubbles described, pen up and touch function works , support Microsoft multi-touch)
A6.Need to install touch driver or not?
1.We suggest install touch driver in Windows XP, it can support sound and multiple monitors at the same time but limited by Windows XP, only single touch will work. 2.If the operating system is after Windows 7, don’t necessarily have to install the touch driver? 2-1.Install touch driver, touch mode will become HID-Mouse mode, it can support touch sound and multiple monitors at the same time but no multi-touch function. 2-2.No installing touch driver, HID-Digitizer mode has multi touch function but no touch sound. It can’t support multiple monitors at the same time unless the operating system is after Windows7. According to the built in tablet PC setting steps the computer can detect which one has touch function.(only professional edition supports it, not for home edition)
A7.Why does my application stop running while continuing pressing the touch screen?
Please disable Automate Right Clicking of Mouse Function. Touch package>mouse setting>right click setting>auto right click of mouse>cancel.
A8.Why would touch function became disabled in Windows 7_8_10 application?

However, AiM PCT touch panels paired with current generation AiM PCT controllers have “no false touch when wet” advanced water immunity features installed in firmware. We have completed testing with different liquids. Saline (0.9% NaCl), blood (0.9% salinity), and not even saltwater (3.5% salinity) will cause false touch signals when present on the touch surface.

(3) In Windows Embedded Standard 7, the Tablet PC feature must be selected to support touch.
(4) For Windows Server 2008/ 2008 R2, the Desktop Experience feature must be installed to activate touch.
(5) In Windows 8 / Windows Embedded 8 Standard / Windows Server 2012, the default setting supports touch.
Install the latest AiM-RC-3xxxx series In Windows 2000/XP, and the system will simulate a mouse device automatically. In Windows 2008/Vista/7/ 8, you can instruct the system to simulate a mouse device during installation.
Note: Windows Server 2008 does not contain the Desktop Experience feature in the default system setting. It is recommended that you install the touch panel as a “simulated mouse device” to make sure touch functions accurately.

For Linux, the inbox drivers of Linux Kernel 3.0.0 or later versions support AiM USB devices, and AiM RS232 interface is supported by the inbox drivers of Linux kernel 3.2.0 or later versions. If the Linux operating system that you use is not the kernel versions mentioned above, you can drive AiM hardware devices by using AiM driver source code, and using Linux multi-touch applications for multi-touch operation.
